Voice Thread A VoiceThread is an online media album that can hold any type of media (images, documents and videos) and allows you to make comments in 5 different ways - using voice (with a microphone or telephone), text, audio file, or video (with a webcam) A VoiceThread allows group conversations to be collected and shared in one place, from anywhere in the world.
Goggle Lit Trips is basically a tour of resources related to different novels or books using Google Earth. Check it out and consider making a lit trip of your own to submit to this site!
Make Beliefs Comix create your own comic strips, by adding your choice of characters, thought and speech bubbles, and text to a variety of basic template layouts. The site offers some story ideas for those who my have trouble starting from scratch. It also has a section of information especially for educators under the tab at the bottom of the screen labeled How to Play With Makebeliefscomics.com. Some of the benefits the site lists for students include practicing language, reading, and creative skills, with an emphasis on the application of these skills for ELLs. The comics can be emailed or printed out once they are completed.
Gcast podcasting with Gcast. Gcast records podcasts by phone and hosts your show for free. Call an 800 number and record your podcast as if it were a voicemail. Gcast offers an online mixer where you can add free, podsafe music to your show and when your masterpiece is complete, an embeddable player can go on any web page so that visitors can listen to your podcast without ever leaving the page or wrestling with podcasting software.

Blabberize is a Web 2.0 software that allows you to create your own talking picture, basically a moving mouth on a still image. Using Blabberize is simple. Users upload a photo of someone to Blabberize, select a mouth and then record a message. Once done, users can email a link to the Blabberize hosted page or embed the result.
